I made some big errors at the end of our match, with the 64 and esp. the 33. I don't usually get emotional during backgammon, but after the first set of 5s to wreck my position, my heart stopped. It didn't start beating again until after you came in at DMP--even after sucking out with the aces, closing you out, escaping all my guys--then I *still* left a shot with boxes.

The main reason I didn't play in the open before was because it was too expensive. Even knowing that I would get third place, I'm still out a lot of money for the weekend, at least to a broke college grad like me.
