I think that making the bar is best. It makes three valuable, consecutive points and leaves three builders for the 5 pt and 4 pt. The six pt needs to be unstacked for sure but it looks better to me than making the 9 pt and leaving a blot on one of the bar points. My opponent would readily get "initiative" by hitting a blot on either bar.
