Payout ratios at Madison?

Correct me if I am wrong, but the point of the Swiss system for this tournament is not to select one outright winner, but to get the top 4 players from the field to playoff for the top prize. If you want the person who goes 9-0 to be the winner, then a straight single elimination is how it works.

If it had been a double elimination format, then the 'Beat Steve Twice' rule would have been in effect. Since its a swiss format, not double elimination, then that doesnt apply.

This is how I see it at least. And, although affiliated strongly to the Madison Club, my words do not represent them here - this is merely my opinion.
