1- 22,8
2- I know 20(2), 9(2) is probably "best" but you will see me play 16*(2) against some opponents in real life. I believe it to be best vs. opponents who cannot or will not count pips, as it will lead to more situations where they need to but won't.
3- I have no opinion here. I see three plays you could justify under your circumstances.
4- 20*, 21; will listen to arguments for 20*, 10, and will play it against "conservative" opponents (if that's really a good term for them?).
5- 21(2), 10(2); this is often a good use of an early 3-3.
