I can't recreate the position exactly, but I thought your play was right by a lot. I thought you needed to create contact and try to avoid the gammon. If you stayed back on the 22 I had seven numbers to point on your head, after which my gammon chances would go up by a mile. In the actual game the gammon was a fluke.
