Playing safe for this roll is just too ugly for words, with two points to clear in front of two open points that rate to stay open. I think we have to stomach giving 25 and 43 to hit in order to clear one point and close the 3 point with 7/4 6/3(3).

The pay now/later criteria aren't conclusive on this one, YES, we are liable to leave more and worse shots later, NO, we aren't home free if we pay now and Stick misses, YES/NO, his board isn't getting stronger, but it isn't getting any weaker either, and it is strong enough. I know that we are supposed to pay later when in doubt, but as said - it is just too ugly.
