This is one of those "Yeah, Doubles! ... Oh" moments.

We can play safe for this turn with 7/4(2) 8/2, but it leaves loads of shots next time.

I prefer to offer four shots now and play 6/3(3) 7/4. We should then be able to safety the blot next time. After that we may well clear the bar without leaving a shot; 6-large clears the point, 6-small plays a single chequer from the lower points.
