Yes, I'm on the far northwest side of Houston, probably 65-70 miles from the coast. So, we'll get a good blow but I don't think anything too serious. It's a big storm but not an extremely strong storm. Right now it's bright sunshine, a light breeze, and probably close to 90 degrees here. No one in my neighborhood is leaving. We'll probably get winds maybe as high as 100 mph and a lot of rain, but beyond the limbs, leaves, and debris it shouldn't be bad. I'm in a high area (we got 30 inches of rain from Allsion in 2001 withou problem), so flooding shouldn't be an immediate problem either. Thanks for the thoughts.

I'll no doubt lose power at some point for perhaps as much as a couple of days or more, but I'll check in when I can.
