Snowie's 53P-41S only shows as .003 wrong. I'm not sure this is a 'serious' error even though it doesn't find the rollout best play on 3-ply evaluation. (The difference actually looks like it's tied up in the backgammon rates for both sides. The win rate for this and slotting are identical.)
If evaluations were always right, we wouldn't have to do rollouts.
I actually like Snowie's choice of making the two point with 64R-64. It is preparing to blitz the remaining checkers. Long Snowie rollouts have 64P and 64S statistically tied. Here, the evaluation and rollout are almost identical. Again, the evaluation difference is only .006, hardly a 'serious' error.
