I don't think Blue has the timing to play an acepoint game. Only fifteen pips down, and 48 tied up on the anchor; Blue is likely to crunch before White. Blue has the better board, and no fear of a gammon, so I step up with 24/21.
Then I'm torn between building with 7/6, and running with 24/23. The latter makes rolling 66 a viable gameplan, but gives White a safe spot behind me. White has enough 5s and 6s to play in the outfield to dilute the harassment power of the acepoint, so I do indeed step up with both chequers.
