I know my opponent and I know he knows to double immediately so why not do something stupid? Maybe get him to hold off a roll and joker my way back into it? I've never seen anyone do it though I'm sure it has been done before. I played it about as bad as you can, 8/5, 8/4, ripping two off the 8 pt.

This confused him for about 4-5 minutes he contemplated doubling. I was happy if he rolled on as I figured I'd be a better judge of who was winning the position later in the game and he may just give me a chance to joker my way back into the game. (most of the doubles and anything that covers both blots if he happens to miss, also if he runs & I can hit & cover at least one I'd have to give it some thought) Eventually he doubled but it almost worked? Technically according to the bots he should have played on but not many humans will, and if they do, they're prone to errors down the road.
