How many seconds does capitalism have left?

We now have risk-free capitalism. Make fortunes on other people's money when the tide is rising. When it goes south, the taxpayers will bail you out. The auto industry is next in line, then the airlines, then who knows what.

There is no such thing as a government bailout. There is only a taxpayer bailout. It will be paid for in some combination of three ways- print money to cause inflation, raise taxes, or pass it on to future generations.

This country deserves the problems it has. Greed at all levels of society is responsible for this mess, from the fat cats at the top lining their pockets down to the little guy buying more house than he knows he can afford, taking vacations and filling his driveway with cars paid for with a home equity line of credit.

And watch out, the cure is worse than disease. I don't trust the government to do anything better than the private sector other than courts, the police and the military.
