well, other candidate is 15-10 and 7-2 (3) which avoids being hit at 7 pt since cube at 4 gammon threats but too many checkers at 2 pt looks ugly and i think gammon threat is not much since 2 pt open there.. i also play nice looking and 3 covering checkers by:

15-5, 7-2 (2)
