4a, 2a Close out and then?

I am willing to sacrifice a little here to get that 2nd checker. White has 16 crossovers to save the gammon, and you will have 15 to score a gammon. So, from here, I suppose safety should be very important. Also, it matters a little less about dumping your spares on low points, as you are wanting to spread them out a little. If the only option was to dump the checker safely to the ace, I doubt I would do that.

I play 9/3,16/15.
