Bill Riles, helped me with my choice for digital camera. You can search here for those posts. I will send you data about my camera but in this moment I can tell you few important things. Tripod is definitely must. I have small one (Sony) which can fit into small bag. Will send you a link at picture. Also you should buy additional spare battery with bigger capacity so you are independent about power supply. Definitely you should go with camera with hard disk. It is easy to manipulate and transfer files to laptop. I will send you how many matches can fit on XX GB but space is not issue. I record 14 7pointers in two days and have no experience space problem. Very important is precision dices color. I have black (opaque) and ruby red (translucent) once and I think there are best colors. On Bahamas Milion tournament use such dices. With green dices (translucent)for example dots are not clear. And at last, be very careful with objective's characteristics of your camera. Buy camera which have objective with the widest angle recording field (I don't know English word for this feature but you will understand) so you can fit whole backgammon board and score sheet from reasonable height of your tripod (you can't go so high bcuz dices). I have to buy additional objective to be able to catch all these things.

Hope it helps.
