It seems to me as a very efficient double. I am not sure at all is this take. That big whole in Stick's board and our pretty fine offense could be enough to compensate badly acept anchor game and 25 pips deficit in race. Anyway Stick has few nice spares to make new inner point and in next few rolls he will bring even more wood to plug the whole. Also sometimes we have no time to keep midpoint so could be forced to leave a shot there or crunch our board or run with one back checker instead which are not good scenarios for us. I am inclined to let this one go. GNUbg at 3ply, which is usually closer to rollouts, hates to play such holding games as a defender.
