I honestly don't know how to do EPC, other than 7N+1 where N is the number of rolls and I do recall how to use that from the Trice method when there's a straggle checker in the outerboard running around..ie after you enter after being hit in the bearoff (refer to BG Boot Camp..an absolute must have book for a player of your skill level).

Rather than EPC I use my own method of extensive reference positions for speed boards vs pip positions, that, due to having access to race programs for at least 20 years, I developed the method myself and can remember most of what I need to but by adding in some EPC concepts can slightly improve it. (Don't ask me to teach it, I wouldn't know how to teach my method)

But honestly, the position of 5 on the ace pt vs 0031 was in my memory as a close money take.
