This looks like cube/take to me, although I am more sure of the take than the cube.

What's worse is when it is cube/pass and the player doesn't cube, and then his opponent rolls a joker and the player whines about his bad luck. Bad skill is more like it.

But you don't want to tell him it is bad skill, because next game he might remember/learn to cube you out instead. Sigh.
