Yeah, I agree. Not a big baseball fan, but Pete Rose was the kind of player you want on your team... I bet his onbase percentage was one of the highest ever... He would take a walk, lean into pitches, and was the type of player willing to sacrifice and he was probably good at it. He bunted for a lot of hits and ran the bases aggressively. Sacrifices tend to raise your average and help the team btw.

I bet on myself to win backgammon matches and I have not been barred from the Backgammon Giants. I even bet on Curtis Lucas to beat Rory the other day, and then found out that Curtis can't see anymore... playing 21 when he rolled a great 22.
