Takers are hard to beat, and this take is something of an "investment" in the future of the match. You warn your opponent that he is going to have to win the game over the board, not just psychologically. I have taken worse. It is satisfying later in a match when someone decides not to double you because they know they can't steal from you, (or maybe cuz they think you will take later), when you don't want to be doubled....

Tami is fearless also, I am sure she wanted to take it. Is it a take? I don't know about that...
