In Response To: More on Baseball (Stick)

All star games have the best hitters vs. the best pitchers. In the last 28 all star games the average runs per game is 7.75 which is lower than average runs per game for normal regular season games. The all star games probably have above average fielders which helps out a bit but that may be where the lack of practicing together as a team may show up.
