9pt is fine blocking point and is part of the broken five prime but do nothing with 8pt stack and leaves two blots and (64 44 43 52 63 and all 1s)20 shots. 8/2 creates one blot and leaves 11 shots. We have 6s and 4s to cover next turn if missed. After making 9pt we still have to worry about two blots if Stick missed us and with his strong board I am inclined to go with unstacking and prudent 8/2. Third possibility is 13/11 13/9 which gave us nice structure and could even be better than making 9pt but leaves double shot.
