Rollout

In Response To: Stick v. Claude from Pitt. - tough cube decision (Stick)

More or less what everyone thought. Rollout according to score (my takepoint being a bit higher at this score and I have less recube vig) may change it to a small pass. OTB I thought this was a bare take for money and of course was clueless for match play as I often am ;) It's basically an even race, so if I escape soon I'm right back in it. Another thing that bothered me is I wasn't sure if Claude would know when/if too hit loose on the ace point. If I know for certain he doesn't hit loose when he's supposed to, I'd take. I passed because I felt I was the stronger player and I didn't feel like giving up 2 free points in a position that may not have any possibilities to misplay anything. Even if I escape and he just bears in, it's a straight race where the dice decide and we're even money. I wanted to press my luck in another game. (he doesn't always cover the blot either...which had me wanting to take, but I talked myself out of it..and am ok w/that)
