An interesting question is this: "is 13/8 better or worse than normal?"

Kit Woolsey wrote a Nackgammon article some years ago where he listed and commented on how Snowie played all opening rolls. One of his observations was that Snowie really liked to get a second spare to the 8-point.

24/20 13/8 is my play here.
