I wholeheartedly agree.

You also mention Bonds. In my estimation this is one individual -- foremost among a number -- who has the stats but should not be in the Hall. He is the poster boy for cheating and steroids, further he is a despicable individual.

Without much research, another who I think should have never been allowed in the Hall in Dave Winfield. First, I don't think he deserved it as a ballplayer. Secondly, I've never forgotten that as a basketball player at the University of Minnesota he attempted to kill Luke Witte of Ohio State. An absolute animal gone wild. His presence in the baseball Hall of Fame is about like putting Ron Artest and/or Dennis Rodman, and other such thugs, in the NBA Hall of Fame.
