Okay, how about the original Sports Illustrated article.

It was known as the Luke Witte incident, but apparently the guy Winfield tried to kill was named Mark Wagar.

The video and still photos of the incident were brutal. In grotesqeness (sp?) reminiscent of the Kermit Washington punch of Rudy Tomjanovich. However, this incident went on for some time and there were many repeated blows.
