OK, so we have the better board, Stick is stacked, we would've liked to have made a point or at least run but we didn't manage to do either. So my choices are 8/1*, 24/21 and then 13/9 looks like the best 4, or some kind of variant like 13/9 11/8 or 13/6 or 13/9 8/5. Those all just look wrong. 24/21 13/9 does some good things, strives for contact, splits into stackiness but we have the better board. 8/1* puts him on the bar which is nice but getting hit hurts us in the race, although with no points on White's side we'd still be OK.

Since we do have the better board, 24/20 is a consideration. 24/20 13/10? Maybe, but 24/21 13/9 looks better. 24/20 24/21? Looks really bad to give him 4s, 3s, 2s, and 1s to unload the stacks, and 6s also to hit.

Seems close to me. I keep going back and forth between 8/1* and 24/21 13/9. Final answer is 8/1*.
