This is a must hit. If this wasn't obvious to you take another good look at the position. If you play any other play you're croaked instantly by White's mass of builders. It's a blunder to do anything but bar/20 4/2* (it rolls out stronger than 3 ply but 3 ply still gets it right and says the next best play is -0.060) You need to give yourself a chance to make the defensive five point, if you don't your game is as good as over. White will make either the 3 or the 5 next turn and since you have an offensive board good for attacking but not priming, the game is all but over. Hitting gives you a chance to equalize at least.
