"spread the wealth" is the THEORY OF AMERICA.

This was supposed to be the country of shared prosperity. Formed in the aftermath of Feudalism, when a few dominated the economics of the many.

It worked, to some extent, for awhile. But the current gang of criminals attempted to govern on behalf of the narrowest of constituencies - people who don't wan't to share. Thus, catastrophic failure.

When you start looking at the details, this country has been part socialist for many decades. Chrysler. Long Term Capital. The S&L fiasco of the '80s. Huge subsidies to corporate agribusiness. Preposterous subsidies to the goddamn oil business.

At least Obama advocates policies - such as a tax credit for new job creation -that would result in broad socialism, instead of the corporate welfare socialism we have so muddily embraced.
