Hitting two is quite a feat after 62S: 24/18 13/11. 52: 13/7*/1*(2), backgammon is an easy game when you play like this.

I don't think that it is ever correct to hit two checkers on the second roll with 52 (except at GGish scores), although it's close after an opening 32: 24/22 13/10. It's quite far back after 52: 24/22 13/8.

David is quite a strong player and I don't doubt that he will consistently be in the winner's circle in the future.
