I replied "so you've had some negative experience with clocks?" Turns out he's never even tried them.

I did read what you wrote after this, about him softening his stance, but I have to say that this initial reaction is ridiculous.

If you try it THEN hate it, fine... what can I argue about. But to have such a harsh reaction to never having tried it... that is seriously weak sauce.
