I see both sides of the story here..

13-8 is mandatory however OTB I would play 6-5 and not think about it. Now that I am thinking about it perhaps getting the checkers around the board is the best answer as some others suggest. Moving 22-21 does nothing for us (in the big picture) however 24-23 does start the process.
