Cheating with clocks

I played chess for a few years, used all kinds of different clocks, and never once heard of anyone ever having conceived of doing this. Granted, chess players aren't as degenerate, but there have been cases of cheating with Fritz and the like. If it's undoable on an analog clock it must be virtually impossible on a digital.

And, of course, there is no regulation about which side the clock must be on, or whose clock will be used.
