Anecdote 3: This one happens to everyone I'm sure. I lend my board to a friendly player I see regularly at tournaments. Afterwards, I am unable to locate all of the non-dice/checker contents that were in my set before lending (scoresheets with notes from earlier matches, leaflets for future tourneys, etc.).

This doesn't happen to me because I don't keep misc. stuff in my board. The only thing in my board are the dice cups, and a pile of dice.
