This problem got a lot of answers. 9/6, 7/5 is my play.

It should be noted that while 7/5 "wastes" a pip, if the deuce were an ace, I believe strongly that the right play would be 13/12, and not 7/6... 6s are going to be a precious commodity and if you end up playing one from 13/7, then you might enter that guy with a 5 and use 11 pips up from the midpoint, when only 7 are required.

Given that 13/12 is the best ace until you get a more efficient six... No harm reducing the stack on the bar with your 2... Even though technically you waste 0 pips by moving the 2 from 10-18 which again gives you an efficient 6. Come to think of it... This might be close and because we want to play our high numbers efficiently... because if we roll low we are going to get g'd...

I'll change my play!

9/6, 20/18

It can't be wrong by much and it might be right because it doesn't waste ANY pips.
