Hi Bob, I was not using opponent consideration. I used 83% from Kit Woolsey's match equity table from his 'How to Play Tournamnent Backgammon' booklet. I suppose this table is out of date.

Can you recommend a newer table to use? I think I've seen posts that have indicated that the g11 table supplied with gnuBG is the most accurate, is this true?

Also, Bob, were you watching the match at the time of the Double? I know you have a memory like a steel trap. If you did, can you take a look at the position I posted in my response to MCG on this thread and let us know if you think it needs refining? I completely focus on the board and my opponent during the match and so I have absolutely no idea who or how many were watching, other than Neil since he was sitting close by watching.

I wish I had written the exact position down, but I did not want to detract from the drama of the cube, it would have been less RIVETING.
