Saxing a rollout, I like it. Though the way Simborg Inc. settle some of their bets I wouldn't want to take all the glory away from Borging a rollout either. Phil gave me by far the biggest grin at the last tourney we were at. A question was raised on how to play an opening 21 I believe it was at some odd score, maybe GS, the details don't matter. I, of course, had my flash drive in my pocket and Phil could be online and access the site. He looks at my rollout, all good, but still performs a Snowie quickie 2 ply truncated something or another rollout to "see what it says". I was rolling. I'd spent either 3 weeks with a slow computer or a little less than 2 weeks on a fast one for 46k trials with the strongest settings yet Phil wants to see what a 5 minute dirty SW rollout tells him.
Obviously they don't 'live' on GU and bgonline forums like some of us, where someone's short (not statsig :) rollout gets ripped by the rollout police, let along a mere evaluation.
I don't mind as much ppl posting gimpy rollouts here, it's their personal CPU time they're devoting for an answer to their problem, they can do whatever they see fit. Nobody is paying them for it, they know they'll catch shit from us is all. If you're going to put out an article ppl have forked over money for, come on, get with the program.
I also wouldn't excuse these ppl as easily as you do, look who they are, some math geeks to permanent bg writers, I don't buy they don't know better. You should have bitched louder and on these forums, if I'd known it'd been bitched about before enough maybe I'd start naming names hoping it'd up the ante and maybe I wouldn't have to look at another 2 ply truncated at 7 200 trial rollout lol.
