Forgot it again ... damn it, here it is:
Woolsey: Ring keeps swinging away, sending another man back & keeping Senk off balance. He could make a move toward building his board with 2(bar/24), 2(6/5), but this leaves Senk the opportunity to hit some more blots or make points on either side of the board, so Ring's hitting play looks best. At least he emerges with a made ten point, which is better than nothing.
Goulding: I see three nice plays, and want to make all of them! The candidates are (after entering from the bar): 24/23* 11/10, 2(6/5), and 6/4*. I think 6/4* should be rejected first. It would be a great play if you could hit a second checker or had at least one more home board point. Howard's play is nice, albeit a bit conservative, but where does it take you? Are you trying to win the game, or simply avoid losing? I think it's time to apply KG's law of complex positional games: When in doubt, put your checkers where you most want them, ignoring your opponent's men. I want my five point.
Robertie: Again, I go all out for offense in this position. My play is bar/24(2) 6/5(2). Picking up the blot on the 23 point doesn't seem nearly as important to me as making my own 5 point with lots of pressure.
