Dave posted: I'd prefer to just see matches being lost if they're flagged, it can prevent some kinds of gamesmanship that Bob Koca mentioned in a previous post. For example, I saw a match in Baltimore where player A is losing at 11-away, 10-away with the cube on 16. Why not just wait the clock out and take two penalty points. Quite a difference!!

Hi Dan, that was me, Barry, who posted this, and it was under an interpretation that 2 points would be awarded and a new game started. If two points were added but the game continued in place, obviously this situation would be avoided and all gamesmanship would be avoided. Good point.
