As Mary pointed out, the player with the home boards on his right is at a disadvantage with respect to the frequency of cocked dice. I don't think anybody wants to see somebody lose a match on time because they had too many cocked dice.

Let me suggest a couple of ideas to think about. I think the first one has been mentioned before:

1. In a non-contact position, the player with the home board on his right may choose to use his left board for rolls. He must clearly indicate this prior to the roll, and then his left board must be used for the remainder of that game. He would revert to rolling on his right side at the start of the next game.

2. With less than one minute of bank time remaining, the player's clock would be stopped for cocked dice. This is analagous to NFL football where towards the end of the halves the clock stops when the player steps out of bound with the ball, but it remains running at other times.
