white has enough timing to protect his board whereas blue nearly break one of his back pts or inner board, since many checkers out for white it doesnt seem gammon but his hope is blue break one back pts and point on head, this is the only gammon chance.. i think blue doentt give this chance to white, he plays safely next rolls
