I think this is a good double. Based on the race alone white has a timely double. There is some, but rather little, shot equity for blue. White will probably safety one of the back checkers this roll. Then blue will have 0, 1 or 2 indirect shots at the remaining blot. White may also have a potential problem clearing the 10, but with both the 7 and 8 points intact, and two more spares coming around this problem seems unlikely to have much effect. Hence I think the chances for blue hitting anything are quite small, so white can view this pretty much as a straight race.

I think blue has a take based on the race. In addition, there is a little bit of shot equity. Blue is primed, and may therefore get a wasteful bear-in (maybe enough to get a pass?), but white will not be entirely effective either as there won't be many checkers on white's four point when the bearoff starts.
