Yes, the position was different, but the reasoning you used might be the same.

I think we have to realize also how we will FEEL getting down 16-2/21. IF you can hold back the steam there, then you are a better man than me... In addition to being a better player. I think you would send it over at that score but that is just my opinion. Not fair to challenge what you wrote, I apologize for that.

A funny aside, I was once up 16-2/19 v. Drew Giovannis in Vegas Masters a few years back. Drew was annoyed!

Imagine my attitude, after about 10 more games when I found myself now trailing: 18*-16/19!

I tried to tell myself to be patient, I only had to win two games in a row to win the match. So far, I had been able to avoid whining somehow...

I won the next game to set up DMP, and Drew wanted to hedge. So we did.

I won the match!

Drew said later he was NOT going to waste that comeback and get nothing. The moral of the story is hang in there at lopsided scores, BGOers!
