In Response To: Why 4 off? Gammon chances poor (Caryl Stephanson)

I think the others explained it well...more checkers off is better in the event you do get hit, and there are at least a few gammons hiding even here.

Nice to see you at Safe Harbor Games. I added you to my Friends List. If anyone else is looking for a friendly, visually appealing place to play while waiting for the perfect backgammon server to rise up from the sea, I can recommend it. It has a few glitches but if I can live with them so can you >>
