2.5/18 lets people discuss but minimizes the BS where they spend 2 minutes deciding how to play a 32 response to an opening 32.

Note that 2.5 x 7 = 18.5 which can be rounded up to 19 minutes which with 18 sec delay time means that a typical 7 pt doubles match may IMHO go for 2 hours, but thankfully we won't see the 3+ hours ones anymore.

Perhaps the non money round..ie Friday night at most weekend events doubles matches should be shortened to 5 pts.

Anyhow..I will almost never play Friday doubles again unless every match in doubles is clocked.
