However, I would allow Directors discretion especially, for new players that are intimidated or distracted by a clock.

That's status quo. If that's what you want, then I can respect that, but you should say you're ANTI-clock, and don't try to disguise that with some rhetoric.

When I describe somebody as "anti-clock" -- that doesn't mean they don't want to play with a clock -- that means they oppose the imposition of clocks on the entire field.
