I didn't get to see this problem before the rollout was posted so it's easy for me to chime in but I'd have made the 4pt noting that my opponent can't escape his back checker/run and pick up the blot in one turn. Most likely scenario is the blot gets covered/picked up and then you make some offensive progress. The bar if you're lucky, I'm sure I'd still make the 4pt OtB ...
