1) "No door prizes, just business"

I like the door prizes and likely wouldn't bother showing up for the Calcutta if there were not any. Along with people not showing up until Saturday anyways, the number of players would be diminished. Hurts the TD calcutta equity and also if there are announcements to be made fewer will hear them first hand.

2) "his Calcutta team share owners will be refunded equitably from the Calcutta pool. "

How to do that equitably? Would you really want to assume everyone has the same value just after the calcutta established that is most definitely not the case?

3) "Sat: #1-10AM. #2-12PM. #3-2PM. #4-4PM. (2 hr dinner break 6-8 PM). #5-8 PM. #6-10 PM. (Room locked at 12:15 AM.)

Sun: #7-10AM. #8-12PM. #9-1:30PM. #10-3PM."

Don't forget to eat breakfast on Saturday! If two players are ready to start are they allowed to start ahead of schedule?

4) " join the SEVEN remaining players who have filtered down the earlier part of the LC. " Was adjusting the starting point of players entering into the LC considered?

". If NO ONE volunteers, all nine names go into the hat and the random draw determines the 9th place finisher and the eight LC quarterfinalists. "

How would you like to be told. "Thanks for playing but your weekend is now over, here is your entry fee plus a bit." Also how is the 2.5% figure obtained? Should it be 1/9 of the 12% of the prize pool that is still at stake? I find it strange how yo later suggest sweetening it a bit when it already is.

I don't like this 9th place idea at all but instead of a drawing maybe have it be silently auctioned off. Each player writes what prize pool % they would be willing to take (up to 12% of course) and lowest value gets it.

I agree it is a good idea. I anticipate complaints thoough from those who wnat to set up a camera in one location and stay there.

Are you saying that the 9th person gets NO ABT points. I would have assumed they would get their 2.5%.
