Blitz(ish) Cube Action Behind in Score

In Response To: Blitz(ish) Cube Action Behind in Score (neilkaz)

Does the relative strength of the players make a difference? It seems to me that I am likelier to win from behind against a top player by trying for 4 points now than by working for the points one by one. Also, if I am likelier to make a later mistake with the cube than he is, is it not a good idea for me to remove the weapon from the table?

The rollout is almost finished. It's probably going to be TCTC--
