Having said that, Adam, I would double here anyway and let the bot slap me if it wants to.

I will be gleeful when I win a gammon, and I will play for one resolutely. Hitting loose and giving you every opportunity to fan 25% of the time.

Noting that it is obviously a blitz, there are SOME tentative leaders who will PASS because this is not the type of game they want to play at this score.

I am/was probably not one of those guys... but there are a few. You don't want to miss out on doubling them, and that makes your decision all that much closer than the bots analysis and the rollout suggest.
